How to Send Gcash Funds to PayMaya

I find it difficult to cash into my PayMaya account. Apparently, they have limited ways of adding money to your digital wallet, unlike Gcash. It would still depend on your place because to me, there are lots of Gcash terminal in my location. Gcash has recently added PayMaya for transferring funds. I will guide you on how to send your Gcash funds to PayMaya.

Steps to Send Gcash funds to PayMaya

1. Open your Gcash app and login
2. Select “Bank Transfer”
3. Under Partners Bank, go to “view all”
4. Then choose “Paymaya Philippines Inc.” If you couldn’t find it through scrolling, click on the search bar.

There are lots of options to choose from. If you couldn’t find PayMaya, just click on the search button and type in ” Paymaya Philippines Inc. ” then click on it.

After choosing PayMaya, you’ll be prompted to fill in the necessary information to transfer Gcash funds to PayMaya. Information being asked should be the one reflecting on the PayMaya account you’ll be transferring funds to. Account number would be the number registered on the PayMaya account you’ll be transferring funds to.

When you click Send Money, you’ll be prompted a confirmation window. After clicking the confirm button, you will be redirected to the success page and SMS notification will be sent to your Gcash number for the transaction you made. Also, a SMS notification will be sent to the Paymaya number that he/she received an amount via Instapay.

Do I get charged?

As of today, transferring funds to PayMaya is free of charge. Gcash just launched this feature and I think they might have transaction fees in the future but I hope not.

How long will it take?

This is the good thing with Bank Transfer with Gcash. As long as there’s no issue, the funds will be transferred straight away to your account. With PayMaya, it took a couple of minutes to reflect and it’s great because you wouldn’t need to wait for business days like most banks.
